The Indian women's cricket team, after winning their eighth Asia Cup title, did not accept the trophy from ACC President Mohsin Naqvi in Dubai. This follows a similar incident with the men's team in 2025. Former player Aakash Chopra criticized Naqvi, questioning the purpose of playing if trophies are not awarded. BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla confirmed the decision was made after discussions, stating there was no conflict.
