Private insurance companies are urging the IRDAI to modify proposed investment regulations for unlisted firms. निजी बीमा कंपनियाँ IRDAI से कह रही हैं कि वे सूचीबद्ध न हुई कंपनियों के लिए निवेश नियमों में बदलाव करें। उनका कहना है कि कंपनियों के शेयरधारकों की पूंजी के हिसाब से सीमा तय होनी चाहिए, न कि सरप्लस के हिसाब से। इससे निजी कंपनियों में निवेश के लिए अरबों रुपये मिल सकते हैं। यह नया ढाँचा बीमा कंपनियों को अपने निवेश पोर्टफोलियो को संभालने में ज़्यादा छूट देगा और क्षेत्र की निवेश क्षमता को बढ़ाएगा।
