US Hindu Group Protests RSS Event in NYC

A US-based Hindu group, Hindus for Human Rights, is among 61 organizations protesting an event featuring RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat in New York City. Executive director Sunita Viswanath stated that these interfaith and secular groups signed an open letter against the Saturday event. Many supporters plan to attend the protest, expressing dissent against the RSS's representation of Hindus.
