The domestic medtech industry has voiced its support for the DGHS ban on the reuse of single-use medical devices. Industry association AIMED has called for enhanced patient safety measures. These include implementing stricter inspections of medical facilities, establishing traceable disposal records for medical equipment, and defining clear liability rules for healthcare providers. These steps aim to prevent potential harm to patients from the improper reuse of devices intended for one-time use.

घरेलू मेडटेक इंडस्ट्री ने सिंगल-यूज़ मेडिकल डिवाइस के दोबारा इस्तेमाल पर DGHS की रोक का समर्थन किया है। इंडस्ट्री एसोसिएशन AIMED ने मरीज़ों की सुरक्षा के लिए कड़े कदम उठाने की मांग की है। इसमें मेडिकल सुविधाओं का सख़्त निरीक्षण, मेडिकल उपकरणों के निपटान के लिए ट्रेस करने योग्य रिकॉर्ड स्थापित करना और स्वास्थ्य सेवा प्रदाताओं के लिए स्पष्ट देनदारी नियम परिभाषित करना शामिल है। इन कदमों का मकसद एक बार इस्तेमाल के लिए बने उपकरणों के अनुचित दोबारा इस्तेमाल से मरीज़ों को होने वाले संभावित नुकसान को रोकना है।
