He highlighted that before 2017, opportunities, resources, and government policies for women were lacking. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's guidance, the state government is empowering rural women through initiatives like BC Sakhis, Lakhpati Didis, and Drone Didis, fostering self-reliance and expanding livelihood opportunities.

उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने कहा कि राज्य की महिलाएं अब सिर्फ विकास की लाभार्थी नहीं हैं, बल्कि वे ग्रामीण अर्थव्यवस्था की निर्माता और एक नए भारत की वास्तुकार हैं। उन्होंने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि 2017 से पहले महिलाओं के लिए अवसर, संसाधन और सरकारी नीतियां कम थीं। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के मार्गदर्शन में, राज्य सरकार बीसी सखी, लखपति दीदी और ड्रोन दीदी जैसी पहलों के माध्यम से ग्रामीण महिलाओं को सशक्त बना रही है, जिससे आत्मनिर्भरता को बढ़ावा मिल रहा है और आजीविका के अवसर बढ़ रहे हैं।
