Around 2,000 people participated in a Tricolour march in Connaught Place, Delhi, after police denied permission for a gathering at Central Park and closed it. CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke was detained hours before the event. Police detained 100-150 protesters, including Dipke and AISA president Neha Bora, throughout the day. The march, called by CJP, AAP, and student organisations, demands the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged irregularities. While the protest disrupted traffic, most shops remained open.
