Indian IT Stocks Rebound Up To 6% After 8-Day Losing Streak; Jefferies Cautious

Indian IT stocks experienced a significant rebound on Wednesday, with shares of TCS, Wipro, and Coforge surging up to 6%. This marks the end of an eight-session losing streak, boosting the Nifty IT index by nearly 3%. The rally was partly driven by a strengthening US dollar, which benefits Indian IT firms by increasing their rupee revenue from US earnings. Despite the positive market movement, brokerages like Jefferies remain cautious ahead of the Q2 earnings season, anticipating the weakest growth for large IT firms in three years.
