Rajasthan District Collectors To Inspect Mid-Day Meals

Rajasthan's district collectors have been instructed to conduct intensive inspections of mid-day meals served in government schools across the state on Tuesday and Wednesday. This exercise will cover 20% of schools, including those not inspected in the last two years, with reports due by Wednesday evening. The inspections follow reports of milk supply issues and children falling ill. Officials aim to ensure food quality, proper storage, and cleanliness, with action to be taken if standards are not met. Schools are also directed to ensure meal services continue despite funding challenges.

राजस्थान के जिला कलेक्टरों को मंगलवार और बुधवार को राज्य भर के सरकारी स्कूलों में परोसे जाने वाले मिड-डे मील का गहन निरीक्षण करने का निर्देश दिया गया है। इस अभ्यास में उन स्कूलों सहित 20% स्कूलों को शामिल किया जाएगा जिनका पिछले दो वर्षों में निरीक्षण नहीं किया गया है, और रिपोर्ट बुधवार शाम तक देनी होगी। यह निरीक्षण दूध आपूर्ति की समस्याओं और बच्चों के बीमार पड़ने की रिपोर्टों के बाद हो रहे हैं। अधिकारियों का लक्ष्य भोजन की गुणवत्ता, उचित भंडारण और स्वच्छता सुनिश्चित करना है, और यदि मानक पूरे नहीं होते हैं तो कार्रवाई की जाएगी। स्कूलों को धन की कमी के बावजूद भोजन सेवा जारी रखने का भी निर्देश दिया गया है।
