उत्तर प्रदेश कांग्रेस ने पीलीभीत सदर सीट पर मतदाता सूची में बड़े पैमाने पर हेरफेर का आरोप लगाया है। पार्टी का दावा है कि 13,150 मतदाताओं के नाम उनके EPIC और सीरियल नंबर बदले बिना बदल दिए गए। पार्टी नेताओं ने कहा कि 884 नाम ऐसे हटा दिए गए जबकि मतदाता उसी इलाके में रहते थे, और 2,600 नाम ऐसे जोड़े गए जो कथित तौर पर वहां नहीं रहते। कांग्रेस ने स्पेशल इंटेंसिव रिवीजन (SIR) प्रक्रिया की जांच की मांग की है, और कहा है कि चुनाव आयोग का सिस्टम नतीजों में हेरफेर की इजाजत देता है।
