Lucknow Professor Wins China Travel Grant

Professor Siddharth Singh from Shri Jai Narain Misra PG College in Lucknow has become the first recipient from Uttar Pradesh of the EFSLE China Travel Grant 2026. This award allowed him to attend an international conference at Sichuan University, celebrating its 130th anniversary. Professor Singh presented his research on transnational feminism and Third World literatures within the context of the Cold War. He also emphasized the importance of understanding Third World literature in its own cultural settings and suggested literature can foster stronger India-China connections.

लखनऊ के प्रोफेसर को मिला चीन यात्रा ग्रांट

लखनऊ के श्री जय नारायण मिश्रा पीजी कॉलेज के प्रोफेसर सिद्धार्थ सिंह EFSLE चीन यात्रा ग्रांट 2026 पाने वाले उत्तर प्रदेश के पहले व्यक्ति बन गए हैं। इस पुरस्कार ने उन्हें सिचुआन यूनिवर्सिटी में एक अंतरराष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन में भाग लेने का मौका दिया, जो अपनी 130वीं वर्षगांठ मना रहा था। प्रोफेसर सिंह ने शीत युद्ध के संदर्भ में ट्रांसनेशनल नारीवाद और थर्ड वर्ल्ड साहित्य पर अपने शोध को प्रस्तुत किया। उन्होंने थर्ड वर्ल्ड साहित्य को उसके अपने सांस्कृतिक परिवेश में समझने के महत्व पर भी जोर दिया और सुझाव दिया कि साहित्य भारत-चीन के बीच मजबूत संबंध बना सकता है।
