ISRO's GSLV Successfully Places NVS-03 Satellite into Designated Orbit
Business Standard · science
India's regional navigation satellite system, NavIC, has been restored to its minimum operational configuration of four satellites following the successful launch of the NVS-03 satellite. The second-generation navigation satellite was placed into its designated injection orbit by a GSLV rocket. The NVS-03 satellite, equipped with indigenous atomic clocks, has applications including real-time tracking of trains, vehicles, and shipping vessels. This launch strengthens the infrastructure for India's 'one nation, one time' project, enhancing independent access to Position, Navigation, and Timing services.
