Latur rural police conducted a raid on an illegal firecracker manufacturing unit in Mamdapur on Monday afternoon, seizing a large quantity of finished and unfinished firecrackers along with raw materials. Six women workers and a supervisor were found at the site, where safety arrangements for handling explosive substances appeared inadequate. Acting on a tip-off, police discovered manufacturing activity underway in a tin shed and an adjoining open area. The unit lacked the required licenses, and authorities are investigating the ownership and roles of all involved parties.

लातूर की ग्रामीण पुलिस ने सोमवार दोपहर मामदापुर में एक अवैध पटाखा बनाने वाली इकाई पर छापा मारा। उन्होंने भारी मात्रा में तैयार और अधूरी हालत में पटाखे और कच्चा माल जब्त किया। मौके पर छह महिला मजदूर और एक सुपरवाइजर मिले, जहाँ विस्फोटक पदार्थों को संभालने के लिए सुरक्षा व्यवस्था अपर्याप्त लग रही थी। सूचना मिलने पर पुलिस ने एक टिन शेड और पास के खुले इलाके में निर्माण गतिविधि चल रही पाई। इकाई के पास आवश्यक लाइसेंस नहीं थे, और अधिकारी सभी संबंधित पक्षों के स्वामित्व और भूमिकाओं की जांच कर रहे हैं।
