Bharti Airtel Hikes Postpaid Tariffs By Up To 10%; Others May Follow

Bharti Airtel is increasing its postpaid mobile tariffs by 3-10% starting Thursday. The telecom giant is adding a free international roaming feature, valued at Rs 2,000 for one trip per SIM, to all postpaid plans, which will see rentals increase by Rs 50. New postpaid plans will now begin at Rs 499. This move follows similar price adjustments by other operators like Vodafone Idea earlier this year. Analysts predict further tariff hikes across the industry in the coming months as companies aim to improve revenue per user.

भारती एयरटेल गुरुवार से अपने पोस्टपेड मोबाइल टैरिफ में 3-10% की बढ़ोतरी कर रही है। यह टेलीकॉम दिग्गज सभी पोस्टपेड प्लान में 2,000 रुपये का एक मुफ्त अंतर्राष्ट्रीय रोमिंग फीचर जोड़ रही है, जिससे किराए में 50 रुपये की वृद्धि होगी। नए पोस्टपेड प्लान अब 499 रुपये से शुरू होंगे। यह कदम इस साल वोडाफोन आइडिया जैसे अन्य ऑपरेटरों द्वारा इसी तरह की मूल्य समायोजन के बाद आया है। विश्लेषकों का अनुमान है कि आने वाले महीनों में उद्योग में और टैरिफ बढ़ोतरी होगी क्योंकि कंपनियां प्रति उपयोगकर्ता राजस्व में सुधार का लक्ष्य रखती हैं।
