Supreme Court Deletes Supervision Direction For Kerala Waqf

The Supreme Court has removed the Kerala High Court's directive for the State Waqf Board to operate under the supervision of a government Joint Secretary or Additional Secretary. The apex court passed this order on Tuesday, July 21. This decision means the Waqf Board will no longer be overseen by a government official as previously mandated.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने केरल हाई कोर्ट के उस आदेश को हटा दिया है जिसमें राज्य वक्फ बोर्ड को सरकारी संयुक्त सचिव या अतिरिक्त सचिव की निगरानी में काम करने को कहा गया था। यह फैसला सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने मंगलवार, 21 जुलाई को सुनाया। अब वक्फ बोर्ड पर पहले की तरह सरकारी अधिकारी की निगरानी नहीं रहेगी।
