DUSU VP Demands Better Student Safety and Accommodation After Building Collapse

Delhi University Students' Union Vice-President Deepanshu Shokeen has presented four key demands to the Delhi University Vice-Chancellor concerning student safety and accommodation. These demands include an effective rent-control mechanism for private accommodations, a plan to expand hostel facilities, a comprehensive safety audit of paying guest accommodations, and compensation for victims of the Satya Niketan building collapse. The representation highlights the urgent need for improved student living conditions and safety measures, especially after the recent tragedy that claimed the lives of several students.
