Accenture has implemented a strict $29 monthly limit per employee for using Anthropic's Claude Enterprise AI tool, effective October 1. This move comes as some staff were previously spending between $500 and $1,000 monthly, particularly on Claude Code. Usage exceeding the new allowance must now be funded by specific project budgets. Employees on the Premium plan receive a weekly token allowance, but most are on the General plan. Access to the tool is subject to role and business need reviews, not guaranteed even with a project code.
