Assam Seeks Bengal Support For Madhupur Satra Revamp

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma visited West Bengal's Madhupur Satra to discuss its redevelopment. The Assam government has allocated Rs 35 crore for the project, aiming to develop the revered site on par with Batadrava Than. Sarma emphasized the need for joint efforts between Assam and West Bengal to strengthen religious and cultural ties. The development could enhance tourism in North Bengal, depending on land availability. The plan may also include nearby religious sites.

असम ने मधुपुर सत्रा के नवीनीकरण के लिए बंगाल से मांगा समर्थन

असम के मुख्यमंत्री हिमंत बिस्वा सरमा ने पश्चिम बंगाल के मधुपुर सत्रा का दौरा किया। वहां के विकास पर चर्चा हुई। असम सरकार ने इस प्रोजेक्ट के लिए 35 करोड़ रुपये दिए हैं। इसका मकसद इस पवित्र जगह को बतद्रवा थान जैसा बनाना है। सरमा ने कहा कि धार्मिक और सांस्कृतिक रिश्ते मजबूत करने के लिए असम और पश्चिम बंगाल को मिलकर काम करना होगा। इससे उत्तर बंगाल में टूरिज्म बढ़ सकता है।
