Car Rams Scooter on NH-66, Rider Ajith Paul Lewis Dies

A tragic accident occurred on NH-66 near the Arate bridge in Udupi's Kundapur taluk on Monday, resulting in the death of scooter rider Ajith Paul Lewis. Lewis was riding from Kundapur towards Trasi when a car allegedly swerved onto the wrong side of the road and collided head-on with his scooter. Despite being rushed to a private hospital in Kundapur, doctors pronounced him dead. The Kundapur traffic police have registered a case under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

सोमवार को उडुपी के कुंडापुर तालुका में अरते ब्रिज के पास NH-66 पर एक दुखद दुर्घटना हुई, जिसमें स्कूटर सवार अजीत पॉल लुईस की मौत हो गई। लुईस कुंडापुर से ट्रासी की ओर जा रहे थे तभी कथित तौर पर एक कार गलत साइड में आ गई और उनकी स्कूटर से सीधी टक्कर मार दी। कुंडापुर के एक निजी अस्पताल में ले जाने के बावजूद डॉक्टरों ने उन्हें मृत घोषित कर दिया। कुंडापुर ट्रैफिक पुलिस ने भारतीय न्याय संहिता की संबंधित धाराओं के तहत मामला दर्ज किया है।
