Woman Dies Under Suspicious Circumstances; Family Alleges Murder by Husband

A 22-year-old married woman, Gunja Devi, died under suspicious circumstances in Supaul district on Saturday. Her family alleges she was strangled by her husband, Lallan Paswan, following frequent quarrels over his drinking habits. The family claims Lallan had threatened them prior to the incident and has accused his parents and siblings of conspiracy. Police have taken custody of the body for post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death, stating that it is unclear whether it was murder or suicide.

सुपौल जिले में शनिवार को 22 वर्षीय विवाहिता गुंजा देवी की संदिग्ध परिस्थितियों में मौत हो गई। परिवार का आरोप है कि उसके पति लल्लन पासवान ने शराब पीने की आदतों को लेकर लगातार झगड़े के बाद गला घोंटकर उसकी हत्या कर दी। परिवार का दावा है कि लल्लन ने घटना से पहले उन्हें धमकी दी थी और उसके माता-पिता व भाई-बहनों पर साजिश का आरोप लगाया है। पुलिस ने मौत का सही कारण जानने के लिए शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए कब्जे में ले लिया है, और कहा है कि यह हत्या है या आत्महत्या, यह स्पष्ट नहीं है।
