Dallas Wings Lose Key Players for Playoff Opener

The Dallas Wings will be without forwards Alanna Smith and Azzi Fudd for Game 1 of their WNBA playoff series against the Golden State Valkyries. Smith is sidelined with a lower left leg injury, missing her fifth consecutive game. Fudd will miss the remainder of the season after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on her right knee. The Wings also ruled out Costanza Verona for personal reasons, though Alysha Clark is expected to return. Dallas enters the playoffs as the No. 7 seed.
