Industry Seeks CM’s Intervention for Land Acquisition for EV Project

A delegation of industrialists met Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to expedite the acquisition of 350 acres for Mahindra & Mahindra's proposed EV project in Nashik. The land acquisition has been stalled for 14 months due to farmer opposition and demands for higher compensation. Mahindra & Mahindra plans to invest Rs 5,000 crore in the first phase. The CM assured a meeting with farmers and authorities to resolve the issue and move the project forward. The delegation also pushed for Nashik's inclusion in the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor project.

उद्योगपतियों के एक दल ने नासिक में महिंद्रा एंड महिंद्रा के प्रस्तावित ईवी प्रोजेक्ट के लिए 350 एकड़ ज़मीन के अधिग्रहण में तेज़ी लाने के लिए मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस से मुलाकात की। किसानों के विरोध और ज़्यादा मुआवज़े की मांगों के कारण 14 महीनों से ज़मीन अधिग्रहण रुका हुआ है। महिंद्रा एंड महिंद्रा पहले चरण में 5,000 करोड़ रुपये का निवेश करने की योजना बना रहा है। सीएम ने इस मुद्दे को सुलझाने और प्रोजेक्ट को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए किसानों और अधिकारियों के साथ बैठक का आश्वासन दिया। दल ने नासिक को दिल्ली-मुंबई इंडस्ट्रियल कॉरिडोर प्रोजेक्ट में शामिल करने की भी मांग की।
