Thane Crime Branch has arrested a Bhojpuri actor for allegedly operating a sex racket in the city. Two women were rescued during the operation after police received specific intelligence about the actor's involvement. The accused, who has appeared in multiple Bhojpuri and Hindi films and web series, was intercepted while allegedly trying to push the women into prostitution. An FIR has been registered against the actor under relevant sections of the law.
