NLMC Eyes ₹5,000 Crore From PSU Land Sales By FY27-End

The National Land Monetization Corporation (NLMC) anticipates generating an additional ₹4,000-5,000 crore from selling surplus land owned by central public sector enterprises by the end of fiscal year 2027. This is in addition to the approximately ₹9,000 crore worth of land parcels already sold. Payments for several completed transactions are being processed, and more land parcels are being prepared for market. The upcoming monetization efforts will focus on surplus land held by CPSEs under ministries including telecommunications, chemicals, petroleum, and steel.
