A 33-year-old cobbler has been arrested in southeast Delhi's Jaitpur for allegedly slitting the throat of a 36-year-old labourer. The incident occurred on October 15 following a dispute over repeated verbal abuse and non-payment for food consumed from the cobbler's street cart. Police discovered the body the following morning inside an abandoned shop. The accused allegedly used a knife and a gamchha to commit the murder before fleeing. CCTV footage helped police apprehend the suspect, who reportedly confessed to the crime.

दक्षिण-पूर्वी दिल्ली के जैतपुर में 33 वर्षीय मोची को 36 वर्षीय मजदूर की गला काटकर हत्या करने के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया गया है। यह घटना 15 अक्टूबर को हुई थी, जब मोची की रेहड़ी से खाए गए खाने के पैसे न देने और बार-बार गाली-गलौज को लेकर विवाद हुआ था। पुलिस को अगले दिन एक सुनसान दुकान के अंदर शव मिला। आरोपी ने कथित तौर पर हत्या के लिए चाकू और गमछे का इस्तेमाल किया और फिर भाग गया। सीसीटीवी फुटेज की मदद से पुलिस ने संदिग्ध को पकड़ा, जिसने कथित तौर पर अपराध कबूल कर लिया है।
