Tata Steel's West Bokaro division has adopted hydroseeding technology in its Ramgarh mining areas to promote sustainable practices. This modern method involves spraying a mixture of seeds, mulch, and fertiliser to stabilise slopes, prevent soil erosion, and accelerate green restoration on rugged terrain. The technology is particularly effective on mine overburden dumps where traditional plantation is challenging. It enhances safety, reduces landslide risks, and promotes faster plant growth, with over 50 acres already covered showing promising greenery.

टाटा स्टील के वेस्ट बोकारो डिवीजन ने स्थायी प्रथाओं को बढ़ावा देने के लिए अपने रामगढ़ खनन क्षेत्रों में हाइड्रोसीडिंग तकनीक को अपनाया है। इस आधुनिक तरीके में ढलानों को स्थिर करने, मिट्टी के कटाव को रोकने और ऊबड़-खाबड़ इलाकों में हरित बहाली में तेजी लाने के लिए बीज, मल्च और उर्वरक के मिश्रण का छिड़काव शामिल है। यह तकनीक विशेष रूप से खदान ओवरबर्डन डंप पर प्रभावी है जहाँ पारंपरिक रोपण चुनौतीपूर्ण होता है। यह सुरक्षा को बढ़ाता है, भूस्खलन के जोखिम को कम करता है, और तेजी से पौधों के विकास को बढ़ावा देता है, जिसमें 50 एकड़ से अधिक क्षेत्र पहले से ही हरे-भरे दिख रहे हैं।
