Times of India · sports

Sports radio host Fred Toucher has criticized Philadelphia Phillies star Bryce Harper for confronting MLB commissioner Rob Manfred regarding a potential salary cap. Toucher argued that Harper, earning millions, should not presume to speak for all players. The incident occurred in July 2025 when Harper challenged Manfred in the Phillies clubhouse over baseball's financial future. Toucher compared it to a senior employee speaking for part-timers in a union meeting.
