The Supreme Court has issued notices to Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav, and other protestors regarding their October 12 march to the apex court. Chief Justice of India Surya Kant stated the court would question Rahul Gandhi about how crowds entered the Supreme Court premises during the demonstration. The INDIA bloc leaders were demanding the resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner and a halt to the revision process.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने राहुल गांधी, अखिलेश यादव और अन्य प्रदर्शनकारियों को 12 अक्टूबर को सुप्रीम कोर्ट तक मार्च निकालने के संबंध में नोटिस जारी किया है। इस मार्च का उद्देश्य चुनावी रोल के स्पेशल इंटेंसिव रिवीजन में कथित अनियमितताओं का विरोध करना था। भारत के मुख्य न्यायाधीश सूर्यकांत ने कहा कि अदालत राहुल गांधी से सवाल करेगी कि प्रदर्शन के दौरान भीड़ सुप्रीम कोर्ट परिसर में कैसे घुसी। INDIA गठबंधन के नेताओं ने मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त के इस्तीफे और रिवीजन प्रक्रिया को रोकने की मांग की थी।
