Patients at AIIMS Bhubaneswar are facing significant difficulties as routine diagnostic tests have been halted for the past three weeks due to a shortage of consumables. Essential tests like CBC and urine R/M are unavailable, forcing patients to visit private laboratories and incur additional expenses. A staff member also alleged an X-ray machine is non-functional, attributing the issues to administrative delays in ordering supplies. Hospital authorities confirmed the temporary halt and assured services would resume after the arrival of ordered test items.

AIIMS भुवनेश्वर में पिछले तीन हफ्तों से जरूरी सामानों की कमी के कारण नियमित जांचें बंद कर दी गई हैं, जिससे मरीजों को भारी परेशानी हो रही है। सीबीसी (CBC) और यूरिन आर/एम (urine R/M) जैसी जरूरी जांचें उपलब्ध नहीं हैं, जिसके चलते मरीजों को निजी प्रयोगशालाओं में जाकर अतिरिक्त खर्च उठाना पड़ रहा है। एक कर्मचारी ने यह भी आरोप लगाया कि एक एक्स-रे मशीन भी खराब है, और इन समस्याओं का कारण सामानों के ऑर्डर में प्रशासनिक देरी को बताया। अस्पताल प्रशासन ने अस्थायी रोक की पुष्टि की है और आश्वासन दिया है कि ऑर्डर किए गए जांच सामानों के आने के बाद सेवाएं फिर से शुरू हो जाएंगी।
