Mangaluru Autocross Event Showcases Racing Legacy and Young Talent

Over 120 motorsport enthusiasts from Karnataka, Kerala, and Goa competed in the Bharat Petroleum Autocross 2026 in Mangaluru. The event, organized by the Mangalore Motor Sports Association, featured 13 classes for four-wheelers based on vehicle specifications. Indian National Rally champion Aroor Arjun Rao highlighted autocross as a crucial entry point for aspiring rally drivers. The competition also included a dedicated children's category for young riders, demonstrating a generational handover in motorsport, with participants as young as four years old.

कर्नाटक, केरल और गोवा के 120 से अधिक मोटरस्पोर्ट उत्साही मंगलुरु में भारत पेट्रोलियम ऑटोक्रॉस 2026 में प्रतिस्पर्धा कर रहे थे। मंगलौर मोटर स्पोर्ट्स एसोसिएशन द्वारा आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम में वाहन विनिर्देशों के आधार पर चार-पहिया वाहनों के लिए 13 वर्ग थे। भारतीय राष्ट्रीय रैली चैंपियन अरोर अर्जुन राव ने ऑटोक्रॉस को महत्वाकांक्षी रैली ड्राइवरों के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण प्रवेश बिंदु के रूप में उजागर किया। प्रतियोगिता में युवा सवारों के लिए एक समर्पित बच्चों की श्रेणी भी शामिल थी, जिसमें चार साल के प्रतिभागियों के साथ मोटरस्पोर्ट में पीढ़ीगत हस्तांतरण का प्रदर्शन किया गया।
