NLMC Targets ₹15,000 Crore Mobilisation Via PSU Asset Sales in FY27

The National Land Monetization Corporation (NLMC) aims to raise up to ₹15,000 crore in the current financial year by monetising non-core assets of public sector undertakings (PSUs). CEO Rohan Chand Thakur stated that the corporation has already facilitated the mobilisation of approximately ₹9,000 crore through asset sales from companies like MTNL and BSNL. NLMC has a pipeline of assets worth ₹5,000-6,000 crore for monetisation this fiscal year. The government established NLMC in 2022 to manage and monetise surplus land and properties of government-owned companies.

नेशनल लैंड मोनेटाइजेशन कॉर्पोरेशन (NLMC) का लक्ष्य इस वित्तीय वर्ष में पब्लिक सेक्टर अंडरटेकिंग्स (PSUs) की गैर-प्रमुख संपत्तियों को मोनेटाइज करके ₹15,000 करोड़ तक जुटाना है। सीईओ रोहन चंद ठाकुर ने कहा कि कॉर्पोरेशन ने पहले ही MTNL और BSNL जैसी कंपनियों की संपत्ति की बिक्री के माध्यम से लगभग ₹9,000 करोड़ जुटाने में मदद की है। NLMC के पास इस वित्तीय वर्ष में मोनेटाइजेशन के लिए ₹5,000-6,000 करोड़ की संपत्तियों की पाइपलाइन है। सरकार ने सरकारी स्वामित्व वाली कंपनियों की अतिरिक्त भूमि और संपत्तियों के प्रबंधन और मोनेटाइजेशन के लिए 2022 में NLMC की स्थापना की थी।
