Man Alleges Cops Confined Him For 3 Days, Forced Sale Of Rs 2 Cr Plot

A 35-year-old man has accused a police chowki in-charge and other personnel in Bareilly of illegally confining him for three days. He alleges they coerced him into selling a plot valued at Rs 2 crore for only Rs 10 lakh. The victim claims he and his wife were threatened with false cases and imprisonment if they refused the demand. He has petitioned the Uttar Pradesh chief minister and DGP, seeking an impartial probe into the alleged coercion and illegal confinement.

बरेली में एक 35 साल के आदमी ने पुलिस चौकी इंचार्ज और दूसरे पुलिस वालों पर तीन दिन तक गैरकानूनी तरीके से बंधक बनाने का आरोप लगाया है। उसने कहा है कि उन्होंने उसे डरा-धमका कर 2 करोड़ रुपये की ज़मीन सिर्फ 10 लाख रुपये में बेचने के लिए मजबूर किया। पीड़ित का कहना है कि अगर उसने मना किया तो उसे और उसकी पत्नी को झूठे केस और जेल में डालने की धमकी दी गई थी। उसने उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री और DGP से निष्पक्ष जांच की अर्जी लगाई है।
