CTI Urges Rahul Gandhi to Postpone INDIA Bloc Rally, Warns of ₹10,000 Crore Trade Loss

The Chamber of Trade and Industry (CTI) has requested Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to postpone the INDIA bloc's November 1 rally in Delhi. CTI chairman Brijesh Goyal warned that the rally could disrupt business worth ₹10,000 crore during the peak Deepavali shopping season. This period, leading up to Dhanteras on November 6 and Deepavali on November 8, typically sees significant customer footfall. Traders have already reportedly lost ₹3,000 crore in October due to previous disruptions. The CTI wants the rally deferred until after November 10 to mitigate further economic impact.
