The F-35 Joint Program Office confirmed awareness of a "shipment issue" involving components. Australian Defence Minister Richard Marles stated the parts were not sensitive, identifying them as a cockpit canopy and weapons-bay door. The US authorities and industry partners are working to retrieve the components and investigate.
