Harry Brook's Fastest ODI Double Century Deemed Meaningless After Sri Lanka's Historic Chase

TV9 Hindi · sports

England captain Harry Brook made history by scoring the fastest ODI double century off just 116 balls, hitting 202 runs. Despite his individual brilliance, England lost the match to Sri Lanka by two wickets. Brook expressed disappointment, stating that personal milestones hold no value if they don't contribute to a team victory. Sri Lanka achieved the second-highest successful run chase in ODI history, reaching the 430-run target with two balls to spare. This remarkable chase was powered by centuries from Pathum Nissanka and a crucial unbeaten 61 from Dunith Wellalage.
