The ruling NDA partners in Andhra Pradesh have failed to reach a consensus on seat-sharing for the upcoming urban local body elections. The BJP rejected the TDP's offer of five percent of seats, deeming it outdated. Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan also expressed reservations, seeking eight mayoral posts out of seventeen, while the TDP is considering five or six. Negotiations are ongoing for corporator, councillor, and ward-level seats, with further consultations expected before a final formula is decided.

आंध्र प्रदेश में सत्तारूढ़ NDA के साझेदारों ने आगामी शहरी स्थानीय निकाय चुनावों के लिए सीट-बंटवारे पर सहमति नहीं बन पाई है। भाजपा ने TDP के पांच प्रतिशत सीटों के प्रस्ताव को पुराना बताकर खारिज कर दिया। जन सेना पार्टी के प्रमुख पवन कल्याण ने भी आठ में से १७ महापौर पदों की मांग करते हुए आरक्षण व्यक्त किया, जबकि TDP पांच या छह पर विचार कर रही है। कॉर्पोरेटर, पार्षद और वार्ड-स्तरीय सीटों के लिए बातचीत जारी है, और अंतिम फॉर्मूला तय होने से पहले आगे की सलाह-मशविरा की उम्मीद है।
