Akola Man Sentenced To Death For Brutal Double

An Akola court has sentenced Manish Mhatre to death for the murders of his wife and nine-year-old daughter. The court also imposed a Rs 10,000 fine and ordered life imprisonment if the death sentence is commuted. Mhatre confessed to killing them with an axe on April 24, 2024, after suspecting his wife's character. The victims were found dead at their home in Akola. The prosecution presented circumstantial, medical, and forensic evidence to secure the conviction.

अकोला की एक अदालत ने मनीष म्हात्रे को उसकी पत्नी और नौ साल की बेटी की हत्या के जुर्म में मौत की सज़ा सुनाई है। अदालत ने दस हज़ार रुपये का जुर्माना भी लगाया है। अगर मौत की सज़ा माफ़ होती है, तो उम्रकैद की सज़ा भुगतनी होगी। म्हात्रे ने माना कि उसने 24 अप्रैल 2024 को अपनी पत्नी के चरित्र पर शक होने के बाद कुल्हाड़ी से दोनों की हत्या कर दी थी।
