Thirteen individuals, including a juvenile, have been apprehended in Manipur for allegedly distributing and profiting from explicit content via Telegram channels. Police initiated 'Operation Dignity' after receiving information about the circulation and monetization of non-consensual explicit videos and photographs of local women, including child sexual abuse material. The arrests occurred across Bishnupur, Imphal West, and Kakching districts, with 14 mobile phones seized. An ongoing investigation aims to uncover the broader network, trace financial transactions, and identify additional victims.
