Archaeologists have unearthed a 4,000-year-old tomb in Saqqara belonging to Sakhnetio-Btah, a senior official during Egypt's Old Kingdom. The tomb, discovered at the Bubasteion Necropolis, includes a funerary chapel, ritual objects, and burial shafts. Hieroglyphic inscriptions reveal Sakhnetio-Btah held titles such as 'keeper of the king's secrets' and served in roles like royal chamberlain. The discovery offers insights into elite Egyptian burial practices and the administrative hierarchy of the time, with artefacts like a false door and ushabti figurines found.
