Virender Sehwag Once Threw Ball Out of Ground to Get New Ball

TV9 Hindi · sports

Virender Sehwag, known for his aggressive batting, once strategically threw the ball out of the ground during an English county match to get a new ball. Playing for Leicestershire against Middlesex, Sehwag found it difficult to face Pakistan's Abdul Razzaq, who was reverse-swinging the old ball. Sehwag devised a plan with his partner to get a fresh ball, which doesn't reverse swing as much, ensuring a safer period for their team. This clever tactic was even noted by legendary leg-spinner Shane Warne in his book.
