Authorities in Australia and Israel are investigating an Omani co-pilot accused of attempting a terrorist act on a FlyDubai flight. The UAE-led probe revealed the co-pilot attacked the captain with a crash axe and tried to seize control of the aircraft. The co-pilot, identified by media as Hamam al-Hammami, reportedly had his visa cancelled in Australia in 2019 and was previously barred from flying in Oman due to radical views.
