गांधी जयंती पर चित्रकूट उप-जेल में मनाया गया कैदियों का कल्याण दिवस

महात्मा गांधी की 157वीं जयंती के अवसर पर शुक्रवार को चित्रकूट उप-जेल में कैदियों के कल्याण दिवस का आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें कैदियों के सुधार और पुनर्वास पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया गया। जिला कलेक्टर सुमित कुमार ने कैदियों को मिठाइयां बांटीं और शौचालयों, पीने के पानी और मनोरंजन जैसी जेल सुविधाओं को बेहतर बनाने के लिए प्रशासनिक सहायता का आश्वासन दिया। जिन लोगों के पास जमानत का खर्च उठाने की क्षमता नहीं है, उन्हें कानूनी सहायता प्रदान की जाएगी। अधिकारियों ने कैदियों से सत्य और अहिंसा के सिद्धांतों का पालन करने और बेहतर भविष्य के लिए कौशल प्रशिक्षण के अवसरों का उपयोग करने का आग्रह किया।
