Odisha's Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls has concluded, with the final roll published showing 20.56 lakh electors removed. Chief Electoral Officer S Gopalan stated that 8.32 lakh voters were removed due to death, 8.08 lakh for permanent relocation, 2 lakh for absence, and 1.58 lakh for duplicate entries. The process also involved issuing notices to voters with unmapped details or discrepancies, leading to further removals.

ओडिशा में चुनावी मतदाता सूची का विशेष गहन संशोधन पूरा हो गया है। अंतिम सूची में 20.56 लाख मतदाताओं के नाम हटाए गए हैं। मुख्य चुनाव अधिकारी एस गोपालन ने बताया कि 8.32 लाख मतदाताओं की मृत्यु, 8.08 लाख स्थायी रूप से स्थानांतरित होने, 2 लाख अनुपस्थित रहने और 1.58 लाख डुप्लीकेट एंट्री के कारण सूची से बाहर किए गए।
