US Nuclear Issue An Excuse, Iran Claims; Ideology Is Real Reason

Iranian foreign minister Abbas Araghchi has stated that the United States is using Iran's nuclear program as a pretext for its opposition. He believes Washington's true objection lies in Iran's ideology and its resistance to American dominance in the Middle East. Araghchi pointed out that the US withdrew from a previous nuclear agreement without justification. He also indicated that the Strait of Hormuz would remain restricted until the US meets Tehran's conditions and fulfills its commitments under the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding.

ईरान के विदेश मंत्री अब्बास इराक्ची ने कहा है कि अमेरिका ईरान के परमाणु कार्यक्रम का इस्तेमाल अपने विरोध के बहाने के तौर पर कर रहा है। उनका मानना है कि वॉशिंगटन की असली आपत्ति ईरान की विचारधारा और मध्य पूर्व में अमेरिकी दबदबे के उसके विरोध में है। इराक्ची ने बताया कि अमेरिका ने बिना किसी वजह के पिछले परमाणु समझौते से खुद को अलग कर लिया था। उन्होंने यह भी संकेत दिया कि जब तक अमेरिका तेहरान की शर्तों को पूरा नहीं करता और इस्लामाबाद मेमोरेंडम ऑफ अंडरस्टैंडिंग के तहत अपनी प्रतिबद्धताओं को पूरा नहीं करता, तब तक होर्मुज जलडमरूमध्य प्रतिबंधित रहेगा।
