Delhi Police File Report Against Minister Verma

Delhi Police have filed a non-cognisable report against PWD minister Parvesh Verma following a complaint of assault. The report was filed after Sahib Singh alleged Verma slapped him. Separately, an FIR was registered against unknown persons based on a PWD assistant engineer's complaint alleging extortion related to road construction. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal visited the site, criticising the shoddy road work and demanding Verma's dismissal and arrest. Police stated action is being taken on multiple complaints received regarding the incident.

मंत्री परवेश वर्मा के खिलाफ शिकायत के बाद दिल्ली पुलिस ने एक नॉन-कॉग्निजेबल रिपोर्ट दर्ज की है। यह रिपोर्ट साहिब सिंह द्वारा वर्मा पर थप्पड़ मारने का आरोप लगाने के बाद दर्ज की गई। अलग से, सड़क निर्माण से संबंधित जबरन वसूली के आरोप में एक PWD सहायक अभियंता की शिकायत के आधार पर अज्ञात व्यक्तियों के खिलाफ FIR दर्ज की गई। दिल्ली के CM अरविंद केजरीवाल ने घटनास्थल का दौरा किया, सड़क के घटिया काम की आलोचना की और वर्मा की बर्खास्तगी और गिरफ्तारी की मांग की। पुलिस ने कहा कि घटना से संबंधित मिली कई शिकायतों पर कार्रवाई की जा रही है।
