Nagaland CM Asks Shah to Review FCRA Amendments

Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has urged Union Home Minister Amit Shah to reconsider amendments made to the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA). Rio suggested that a parliamentary panel review the changes to address genuine concerns and build public confidence. He emphasized that such a process would help protect transparency, accountability, and national interest while alleviating apprehensions surrounding the FCRA amendments.

नागालैंड के मुख्यमंत्री नेफियू रियो ने गृह मंत्री अमित शाह से FCRA (Foreign Contribution Regulation Act) में किए गए बदलावों पर फिर से विचार करने को कहा है। रियो का सुझाव है कि इन बदलावों को लेकर जो चिंताएं हैं, उन्हें दूर करने और लोगों का भरोसा जीतने के लिए एक संसदीय समिति को इनकी समीक्षा करनी चाहिए। इससे पारदर्शिता, जवाबदेही और देश के हित की रक्षा होगी।
