Telangana Aims For 20,000 MW Renewable Energy

Telangana is targeting 20,000 MW of renewable energy capacity by 2030 to achieve 'Green Telangana' and promote sustainable development. Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka announced that 1,768 kW of solar capacity is being installed on government schools, with rooftop systems and solar pumps deployed in Khammam district. A one-MW solar plant is operational, and another is under construction. The state is also enhancing its electricity infrastructure with new substations and focusing.

तेलंगाना 2030 तक 20,000 मेगावाट नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा क्षमता का लक्ष्य रख रहा है ताकि 'ग्रीन तेलंगाना' हासिल किया जा सके और सतत विकास को बढ़ावा मिले। उपमुख्यमंत्री मल्लु भट्टी विक्रमार्क ने बताया कि सरकारी स्कूलों में 1,768 किलोवाट सौर क्षमता स्थापित की जा रही है। खम्मम जिले में रूफटॉप सिस्टम और सोलर पंप लगाए जा रहे हैं। एक मेगावाट का सौर संयंत्र चालू है और दूसरा निर्माणाधीन है। राज्य नए सबस्टेशनों से अपनी बिजली अवसंरचना को भी मजबूत कर रहा है।
