Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced that the government is relocating anganwadi centres from rented spaces to Municipal Corporation of Delhi schools. This initiative aims to provide better infrastructure and more permanent facilities for these crucial childcare centres. The move will allow children access to existing school amenities like toilets and play areas. Over 10,870 anganwadi centres operate in Delhi, and this shift is part of a broader plan to improve working conditions for anganwadi staff and enhance early childhood care.

दिल्ली की मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता ने बताया कि सरकार किराए की जगहों से आंगनवाड़ी केंद्रों को नगर निगम के स्कूलों में शिफ्ट कर रही है। इससे इन महत्वपूर्ण बाल देखभाल केंद्रों को बेहतर और स्थायी सुविधाएँ मिलेंगी। बच्चों को स्कूल के टॉयलेट और खेलने की जगहों जैसी मौजूदा सुविधाओं का लाभ मिलेगा। दिल्ली में 10,870 से ज़्यादा आंगनवाड़ी केंद्र हैं, और यह बदलाव कर्मचारियों के काम करने की स्थिति सुधारने और बचपन की देखभाल को बेहतर बनाने की बड़ी योजना का हिस्सा है।
