Koderma civil surgeon Dr Anil Kumar was arrested late Saturday after a 15-year-old girl accused him of sexual exploitation. The teenager reported the alleged abuse to the Child Helpline, which led to her statement being recorded by the Child Welfare Committee. She alleged that Kumar lured and exploited her multiple times over the past two months after she first met him in 2025. Following an FIR based on her complaint, police arrested Kumar from his farmhouse and sent him to judicial custody after questioning and a medical examination.

कोडरमा सिविल सर्जन डॉ अनिल कुमार को शनिवार देर रात गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया। एक 15 साल की लड़की ने उन पर यौन शोषण का आरोप लगाया है। किशोरी ने चाइल्ड हेल्पलाइन को इस कथित दुर्व्यवहार के बारे में बताया, जिसके बाद चाइल्ड वेलफेयर कमेटी ने उसका बयान दर्ज किया। उसने आरोप लगाया कि कुमार ने पिछले दो महीनों में उसे कई बार बहलाया और उसका शोषण किया, जब वह पहली बार 2025 में उससे मिली थी। उसकी शिकायत के आधार पर FIR दर्ज होने के बाद, पुलिस ने कुमार को उसके फार्महाउस से गिरफ्तार कर लिया और पूछताछ व मेडिकल जांच के बाद उसे न्यायिक हिरासत में भेज दिया।
