ODRAF Reaches 10 Marooned Families After 3 Days

An Odisha Disaster Rapid Action Force (ODRAF) team and doctors successfully reached 10 families stranded for three days in Brahmapalli and Markandeswar Vihar, Berhampur. Incessant rains had caused waist-deep waterlogging in the areas, leading to difficulties in accessing food and communication. Relief materials and medicines were distributed, and a pregnant woman was rescued by power boat and taken to City Hospital.

ओडिशा डिजास्टर रैपिड एक्शन फोर्स (ODRAF) की टीम और डॉक्टरों ने मिलकर ब्रह्मपल्ली और मार्कंडेयेश्वर विहार, बेरहमपुर में तीन दिनों से फंसे 10 परिवारों तक पहुँचने में कामयाबी हासिल की। लगातार बारिश से इन इलाकों में कमर तक पानी भर गया था, जिससे खाने-पीने और संपर्क में दिक्कत हो रही थी। राहत सामग्री और दवाइयाँ बाँटी गईं, और एक गर्भवती महिला को पावर बोट से बचाकर सिटी हॉस्पिटल ले जाया गया।
