Malappuram Begins Fourth Phase Rabies Vaccination Drive

The fourth phase of the anti-rabies vaccination campaign for domestic animals has commenced in Malappuram district. District panchayat president P.A. Jabbar Haji inaugurated the drive at the District Veterinary Centre, which is part of the Animal Husbandry department’s rabies eradication programme. The campaign aims to vaccinate all domestic dogs and cats in the district, with the 2019 census indicating 18,277 domestic dogs. The vaccination drive will continue on working days until October 27 at all veterinary hospitals.

मलप्पुरम में शुरू हुआ चौथा चरण का रेबीज टीकाकरण अभियान

घरेलू जानवरों के लिए एंटी-रेबीज टीकाकरण अभियान का चौथा चरण मलप्पुरम जिले में शुरू हो गया है। जिला पंचायत अध्यक्ष पी.ए. जब्बार हाजी ने जिला पशु चिकित्सा केंद्र में इस अभियान का उद्घाटन किया, जो पशुपालन विभाग के रेबीज उन्मूलन कार्यक्रम का हिस्सा है। इस अभियान का लक्ष्य जिले के सभी पालतू कुत्तों और बिल्लियों का टीकाकरण करना है, जिसमें 2019 की जनगणना के अनुसार 18,277 पालतू कुत्ते हैं। यह टीकाकरण अभियान 27 अक्टूबर तक सभी पशु चिकित्सालयों में कार्य दिवसों पर जारी रहेगा।
